A Planeswalker from Kamigawa who becomes the first successful Phyrexian Planeswalker.
Tamiyo is a Planeswalker from the plane of Kamigawa who appears in the story of *Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty*. She reveals to Kaito Shizuki that The Emperor of Kamigawa is actually a Planeswalker known outside Kamigawa as The Wanderer. Later, Tamiyo helps Kaito and The Emperor escape to Eiganjo Castle. After a confrontation with Jin-Gitaxias and Tezzeret, Tamiyo is taken captive by Tezzeret and brought to New Phyrexia, where Jin-Gitaxias completes her, creating the first successful Phyrexian Planeswalker.

In Their Own Story
In *Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty*, Tamiyo is a Planeswalker who encounters Kaito Shizuki while he is tracking down a survivor of a Nezumi village destroyed by a man matching Tezzeret's description. Tamiyo reveals to Kaito that The Emperor of Kamigawa is actually a Planeswalker known outside Kamigawa as The Wanderer, and that her spark was activated when Tezzeret attempted to prototype 'The Reality Chip' to take control of The Emperor's guardian kami. Tamiyo helps Kaito and The Emperor escape to Eiganjo Castle. Later, she and Kaito return to Tameshi's lab, planning to destroy it before Jin-Gitaxias can continue his research. Tezzeret and Jin-Gitaxias ambush them, and Tezzeret escapes with Tamiyo held captive. On New Phyrexia, Jin-Gitaxias completes Tamiyo, creating the first successful Phyrexian Planeswalker.
