Kozilek is one of the most terrifying Eldrazi Titans, a colorless entity that exists outside the normal laws of magic and reality. Known as the "Shattered Sliver," it represents the chaotic aspect of consumption, tearing apart planes to feed on their mana rather than merely draining them like its kin Ulamog. Unlike the more methodical Ulamog, Kozilek is a creature of frenzied destruction, often depicted with massive, jagged wings and a body composed of shifting geometric horrors.

The Titan's influence was so profound that it corrupted the native inhabitants of Mirrodin, twisting them into Eldrazi Spawn or driving them to madness. The plane's legendary artificer, Yawgmoth (though distinct from the Phyrexian god), and later Teferi, were forced to confront this existential threat. Kozilek was eventually trapped within the plane by a complex plan involving the planeswalker Karn and the use of an artificial moon, though its hunger remains a dormant but ever-present danger in the multiverse.
